The FIA has launched the tender process for the appointment of a Promoter for the FIA World Rally Championship. The tender instructions and requirements are now available on the FIA website.
Interested parties are invited to tender to become the Promoter for a period of 10 years, commencing January 1, 2011, granting it certain rights, entitlements and obligations in relation to the FIA World Rally Championship, FIA Production Car World Rally Championship and FIA Junior World Rally Championship.
Bids must be submitted by the deadline of November 15, 2008, and the winning tender will be announced on or before 24 January 2009.
