Sport Meets Mobility in FIA’s 2008 Agenda  

Over 200 representatives from Sporting and Automobile clubs around the world gathered at the FIA General Assembly in Paris to review the year and make key decisions on the next 12 months.

Russia Set to Host UN Road Safety Forum  
The Russian Federation has confirmed its offer to host a UN Ministerial Conference on global road safety in 2009 at an event highlighting the Make Roads Safe campaign.
       
Australia Joins Global Road Safety Facility  
The Global Road Safety Facility, which was set up by the FIA Foundation and the World Bank to provide technical help for developing countries to cut road deaths, is to receive new funding from Australia.
